UPDATE: Is This The End For “Bachelor in Paradise”?

More information seems to be spilling out on what exactly stopped production on “BIP”. What we do know for certain is production is stopped, and the cast has been sent home. Trouble seems to have started when a producer allegedly witnessed a drunken sexual encounter between Corinne Olympios and Demario Jackson. The producer felt Corinne was too intoxicated to give consent. Warner Brothers in conducting an investigation and that investigation will look at if the conduct occurred without proper consent. At this point, it remains to be seen if any charges will be filed. The producer feels Corinne was sexually assaulted, but it is being reported by TMZ that Demario believes not only was the encounter consensual, but that Corinne was the aggressor. It is also being leaked that Corinne was so intoxicated, she did not remember anything that happened in the pool.

ET is reporting “The show will probably be done, like for good”. This brings up many questions on how this will affect the Bachelor franchise of shows. ABC had announced they were planning a winter themed paradise show. This also may impact the wedding of Carly and Evan, who met last season on “BIP” and became engaged. The Wedding was to be filmed and shown on Season 4. Reality Steve is reporting the wedding will still take place June 17th, but it is not clear if ABC will air it or not. One can hope that this is not the end for Paradise, but it does seem as if it would be hard to recover from.
