ABC has officially announced the 31 bachelors who will be competing on Rachel Lindsay’s season of ‘The Bachelorette.’
‘The Bachelorette’ host Chris Harrison also made the cast announcement during a Facebook Live video.
“The suitors are a part of the most diverse and, of course, most dramatic cast we have ever had on the show. Rachel knows what she wants. She’s not looking to date, she’s looking for someone serious.”
Season 13 begins with the 31-year-old attorney from Dallas, TX, sitting down with some of her close friends from the latest season of The Bachelor. Rachel will catch up with Alexis Waters, Astrid Loch, Corinne Olympios, Jasmine Goode, Kristina Schulman, Raven Gates, and Whitney Fransway to discuss her hopes and dreams.
After that she will head to the mansion where Rachel will be introduced to 31 eligible suitors willing to fight for her heart and most importantly her final rose.
According to ABC the cast includes, a professional wrestler by day and a “doting” dad by night, a chiropractor with “magic hands,” a secret admirer with a crush since childhood, a “charmer” who suggests taking a trip to Las Vegas and getting married immediately, and a startup recruiter with a memorable introduction and “unforgettable” opening line.
Many of Rachel’s bachelors will attempt to make memorable first impressions during their limo arrivals (including, but not limited too) Brady, who carries a sledgehammer with him to “break the ice;” Matt “waddles in wearing a penguin costume;” and Blake E., an aspiring drummer who actually got to meet Rachel on Nick Viall’s ‘The Bachelor: After the Final Rose” he walks toward her accompanied by a loud marching band.
When Blake E. and the other three men who already met Rachel on ‘After the Final Rose’ get a second chance to make a first impression, jealousy sparks among the rest of the bachelors.
At the cocktail party, the men will try to dazzle the Bachelorette during their short but precious one-on-one time.
Josiah, a fellow attorney, opens up to Rachel about his troubled past; Fred, a former elementary school classmate, shows Rachel his yearbook and admits he’s been carrying a lifelong crush; Adam shows up with a surprise friend — an identical dummy named A.J.; and the Bachelorette is absolutely charmed by Bryan, who describes himself as “the good kind of trouble.”
ABC revealed Bryan comes on strong but captivates Rachel and “literally” sweeps her off her feet.
The pressure of the night continues as Chris Harrison brings out the First Impression Rose, and Rachel will be most impressed by Kenny, a single dad devoted to his daughter.
The night will conclude with a Rose Ceremony in which 8 men will be cut and only 23 bachelors will remain.
