Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry became a mom for the third time this past Saturday morning and also welcomed her third son. The reality star was seen leaving the hospital with her baby’s father Chris Lopez and arriving back to her home with him and their newborn son. Kailyn has yet to decide on a name and has been referring to her 5 day old son as “Baby Lo” for now. The MTV star has introduced the newborn to her older sons Isaac, 7 and Lincoln, 3, as well as her fans!
On Wednesday, Kailyn shared three photos of her baby boy on Instagram. “Baby Lo 💙,” she captioned the first photo, which showed Kailyn wearing her hair wrapped in a towel with the newborn sleeping on her chest. “Nothing compares 💙 #motherofboys #momx3,” she wrote on the next picture, which featured all three of her sons. Her two older sons held their baby brother in the adorable photo.
Lowry revealed her unexpected pregnancy earlier this year and admitted that she nervous but ready to welcome her newest addition as a single parent. “Please know this was a choice I made, I already know some won’t agree but I’ve been showered with support by the ones I love since I found out. Why did I wait? I’ve had a lot of health complications leading up to this pregnancy and I was not ready to release such private information on my own just yet being that I am so high risk with this pregnancy. I didn’t want to announce just to have another miscarriage and suffer through another grief,” Kailyn wrote in her blog, when announcing her pregnancy in February.
“This is the baby I thought I wasn’t sure if I could have. I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay,” she later added. “And like I say in my book — with a little bit of hustle heart, I can and I will survive anything.”
“Having another child is something I am so happy about and I just can’t wait,” she continued. “My boys are so excited, those who love me are so excited, and I hope that everyone can just be happy for me during this time.”
It was also nice to see Lopez was there with Kailyn when Baby Lo went home from the hospital. Hopefully this means that he plans to stick around for his son in the long run!
