One of the world’s greatest female tennis champs, “Serena Williams” has a new way of expressing her feelings to her millions of fans – she uses something that she refers to as a “public platform” – – and, of course the biggest news, as of last month, is her “baby bump” – which she is supporting to help women like herself, to receive the same amount of pay that most “male” athletes receive, and perhaps many other soon to be new mommy’s.

Serena is a natural in the world of tennis and has fought her way to the top, therefore, she posted a cool picture on her personal Instagram site yesterday – sporting a shirt, grey in color, that has the phrase “Phenomenal Woman” printed directly on her super-duper, rocking shirt, which is telling her fans, friends and family, that “July 31 is Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, which represents the number of actual days in 2017 in which a black woman must work to earn the same pay a white man has made in 2016 — that’s nearly 8 extra months!” Williams wrote in the caption. “Black women are the cornerstone of our communities, they are phenomenal, and they deserve equal pay.”

Serena, as we all know, is now pregnant with her very first baby and the daddy is Ms. Williams fiancé, “Alexis Ohanian,” not only that – but she included and shared one particular post announcing her future interview with the very popular “Fortune Magazine,” and during this special one on one interview, Serena discusses in great detail, exactly what she has done to try and attempt to narrow the battle regarding the never ending fight for equal pay and wages among all females, whether they are professional athletes or any other profession.

“The gender pay gap hits woman of color the hardest,” she wrote. “I hope I can give a voice to those who aren’t heard.”

It always seems as if Serena is battling some kind of issue – and, this time around, she has taken on the challenge of “sexuality” in today’s world as women deal with constant sexual harassment while they struggle to do their job at work -and this goes for all Americans, no matter who they are – however, this soon to be new mom, is doing whatever she can to stop all issues of sexuality, that she herself, deals with, especially when this particular issue hits close to home, meaning “personally” in her private life and anything related to it. Take, for example, the time when Serena got a bit upset at “John McEnroe” sometime during the month of July, after John blurted out some words concerning Ms. Williams’ – and basically stating, that IF she decided to perform her talents via the “men’s circuit,” superstar Serena would most likely be ranked “like No. 700 in the world.”

“Dear John, I adore and respect you but please, please keep me out of your statements that are not factually based,” Williams, 35, wrote in a series of tweets. “I’ve never played anyone ranked ‘there’ nor do I have time. Respect me and my privacy as I’m trying to have a baby. Good day sir.”

Serena may not be able to take on young whipper snappers on the men’s circuit, but I am sure that she could give McEnroe a run for his money! You tell em girl!
