Do y’all watch the reality TV show, “Counting On?!” It’s available on the web for your viewing pleasure. If you are a dire hard fan like the rest of us, then you are well aware that both Jill and Derick – who have been married for a while now, spend a lot of time in Central America – a country that is very poor. Jill (Duggar) Dillard and her hubby have been living in a village, which is located somewhere within El Salvador.
Jill and Derick seem to like what they do – and, it has been their 2nd home for over a year! They began their missionary duties, working side by side, not too long after they were married – and, although they are trying to help people, some of their fans have been highly critical regarding the work they do for “humanity” which has caused a lot of problems in the last several months.
Sadly, from the very beginning, along with their 1st ever journey to the land of the jungle – located in Central America, fans and followers have been questioning whether or not Jill and her hubby, Derick have the knowledge, skills and talent that it takes to become good hard working “missionaries” – and, of course those complaints were mentioned on Jill’s Instagram and Facebook sites.
Uh-oh! This isn’t good – – the “midwife” certificate she was given, now appears to be fake – not only that, there doesn’t seem to be any reputable organization that would even consider approving, and/or giving Jill and Derick the proper documentation to allow themselves to apply for a grant or some other resource so they could continue doing their missionary work.
Jill and Derick’s application, which must be approved by the “International Mission’s” Board of Directors apparently was never approved. Hmm! That basically means that Mr. and Mrs. Derick Dillard wasted an entire year of their lives, doing what they thought was good work as “missionaries” while they were living in the country of El Salvador – in other words, Jill and Derick were never actually missionaries – but they were popular back in the states, as celebs on the Duggar’s reality show when the show was in production.
Accusations regarding the fact that neither Jill or Derick were approved for duty from day 1 of their adventures, while they made the long trip to a foreign country in Central America, began appearing on the Duggar’s social media sites nearly every week.
Many people, including organizations that raise money for charity, made a very valid point regarding the “GoFundMe” account that Jill and Derick set up – stating the funds that came in from fans donations should have actually gone to those organizations that need money desperately to help people who are less fortunate -and not into the bank account that Jill and Derick Dillard set up. In other words, the money that was raised should never have gone directly into the pockets of the Dillard’s, who seem to be just fine financially.
Here we go again! People are beginning to wonder if the network “TLC” had any involvement regarding the financial aspect of Jill and Derick’s life style in Central America. After all, they did fly home a few times for holidays, weddings and in preparation for their 2nd son who was born this past Saturday.
A lot of people, whether they are fans or followers of the Duggar’s reality TV series network, truly believe that they should be informed if they feel the network had anything to do with certain activities that took place within the lives of the Duggar family -instead of just writing up the paperwork to make the family look good.
As of now, there has been no comment or statement from the TLC network regarding this ongoing situation.
And the saga continues.………stay tuned Duggar fans for more updates on the adventures of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard.
