Their parents are some of our favorites from movies, TV, and music. Yes, the offspring of your favorites, and some not so favorites, are being selected to walk for some of the designers’ shows at New York Fashion Week.
A few are actually following in their parents’ footprints, ala Bella and Gigi Hadid, daughters of ex-RHOBH star, Yolanda Hadid and Kaia and Presley Gerber, the daughter and son of supermodel Cindy Crawford. More, like Paris Jackson (daughter of Michael Jackson), Sofia Richie (daughter of Lionel Richie), Amelia Gray Hamlin (daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin), and Mason Grammer (daughter of Kelsey and Camille Grammer) are a few just lucky to get their modeling breakthrough via their have famous parents.
It’s not to say they won’t rock the runway or that they aren’t deserving; but, when is the common man going to get a break?
Most aspiring models have to resort to plastic surgery, implants, sharing an apartment with 3-4 or more equally aspiring models, waiting tables or driving for Uber, and years of rejection in their efforts to push their careers along. Many don’t make it, even with the help of reality shows like ‘America’s Next Top Model’. Yet, this new crop of celebrity offspring is taking the Big Apple by storm as they strut this season’s designer duds.
