Emmy Winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

The day after Julia Louis-Dreyfus won her Emmy for the sixth time for her portrayal as president on VEEP was given the diagnosis of Breast Cancer. According to a rep from HBO on September 6 it was announced that Veep will be ending in 2018 which will be the end of season 7. Julia’s diagnosis, of course, came after that announcement, they will continue business as usual and they will adjust the production schedule as needed.

Julia has been married to Brad Hall since 1987 and they have 2 sons.

We don’t know the exact specifics of her diagnosis as in Stage, what type of Breast Cancer and her treatment.
Julia is a champ, she shared her diagnosis on social media, “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one. “The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality”.
