Everyone knows that “Dance Moms” star, Abbey Miller was a tyrant. They also are aware that Count 8 Dance Academy’s future on Lifetime may be up in the air even with Cheryl Burke being brought on as the new coach, replacing Miller as she continues to fight her legal battles.
Miller’s departure also could prove a stroke of luck for former members of the dance academy. Chloe Lukasiak for one will not miss Miller’s teaching style; but it isn’t clear if her luck will continue with each new installment of the popular series. Lukasiak made an appearance for a Season 7 of “Dance Moms”, but is unclear if she is returning full-time for Season 8. Maddie and McKenzie Ziegler may also finally have an opportunity to return to the show. The girls left following some nasty comments they made about Miller. And with the life of the series up in the air, they may be asked back in an effort to boost ratings.
Lifetime may offer Abbey Lee a chance to change her behavior as a way to come back to ‘Dance Moms’. There is a story circulating that she’s taken her younger dancers to another network to begin a new dance show. But her sentencing in her case may decide the fate of Abby Lee Miller. Miller pled guilty to hiding assets in her Chapter 11 bankruptcy case and could get up to two and a half years in prison.
