"America's Got Talent": Brandon Rogers, Doctor-Singer Gone Too Soon

Dr. Brandon Rogers was an up and coming breakout star in the “America’s Got Talent” reality series. He was also a very gifted young doctor who’s life at the age of 29 had just started to take off. He had a bright future ahead of him. He was excited about his career as a doctor and a singer.

Brandon was discovered by AGT’s producers on Instagram doing his rendition of a Boys II Men’s popular hit song “On Bended Knee”. The group was so impressed by Brandon’s singing voice after watching him on Instagram that they invited him to go on tour with them. It was a once in a life time opportunity. Brandon’s lifetime wish came true. To be on stage with his idols was the biggest high he’d get in his 29 years on earth.

“This past weekend has been nothing short of amazing!! Sharing the stage with my idols…literally a dream come true!! Thank you SO much to 3 of the dopest most insanely talented singers ever @BoyzIIMen !!”

Sadly, in the midst of all this joy, Brandon Rogers was involved in a tragic car accident over the weekend. He was transported to the hospital and died from his injuries on Sunday. The accident occurred on Saturday in Maryland according to sources of AGT productions and TMZ.

Brandon’s audition was to be aired next month. His parents want to watch him do what he loved doing most in life. They are hoping AGT producers will allow Brandon’s audition-episode to be aired in July. It will be a bitter sweet moment for them and everyone who knew him.

The group Boys II Men were so saddened by this tragic event that they sent their condolences to the family on the loss of their son, Brandon.

“Today our hearts are deeply saddened to learn about the sudden death of Dr. Brandon Rogers. A few moths back we brought this young man out to the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to perform with us. He was great all 3 nights! Just a genuinely nice person and a really good singer! Gone too young and gone too soon.”

It’s sad for such a young, talented doctor, great singer and son to be taken from those who loved him. May he Rest In Peace. He will be singing in a new realm now. God bless him and his family.
